Brisbane 9th October and Darwin 2019

Posted by Sean McCarthy on

Hey there folks, thanks for sticking with us, we have been very busy over the past few weeks with training and equipment sales.  I hope that we are meeting your requirements...naturally if you have any feedback please don't hesitate to contact us directly about the issue and we can sort it out to the best of our ability.

Brisbane:

We have had an overwhelming response to training in Brisbane, as such we have scheduled our third course there for 2019, on October 9th we will be working in Morningside again, we have 10 places set aside, two of which have already been taken and there are 6 people currently reviewing their situation.  So if you want to learn venomous snake handling in Brisbane, please book the practical training, then get onto the theory.

There were a number of people disappointed they couldn't get onto the August course, so get in fast or run the risk of missing out.

Darwin:

There have been a few people upset with Snakehandler for not conducting the training in Darwin on the 6th August (tomorrow).  We have received messages via Facebook and emails, expressing frustration that we are running another Brisbane course but cancelled the Darwin course......we have to make these decisions on a course by course basis when it comes to interstate courses......we have considerable expenses when traveling interstate which need to be covered and if we do not get enough people on a course we need to make a decision.  This was made three weeks ago, we reviewed the situation and only had two people paid up and confirmed for the course.  I had to confirm accommodation, training venue, freight, staff rosters and airfares.  With only two people it was not viable.  If you wish to have a course in Darwin people need to book and pay at least one month in advance. We are happy to run a course in 2020 if there is enough interest.  We will put up dates soon and seek expressions of interest.
