
The practical handling session and assessment for the Reptile and Venomous snake control course can only be undertaken once the theory is complete, this course can also be used for updating your skills. Please ensure that you bring along your certificate of completion, for people doing refresher training you will need to bring along your certificate from a Nationally Accredited Training Course in Reptile and Snake Handling. It is essential that you bring along this certificate along with appropriate clothing for working with venomous snakes, this includes long loose fitting pants, long sleeve shirt and solid fully enclosed shoes (workbooks and solid hiking boots for example). Please also bring a pen and paper, drinks for the day (water is available), snacks and lunch.
The day will cover a practical session in the identification of snakes along with handling lizards, monitors, pythons, colubrids and at least 8 different venomous snakes!!
You must be over 16 to complete the practical handling.
