The detachable handle allows for a flat bottom edge on the hoop, keeping it close to the ground for improved control during self-capture or hooking techniques. When fully assembled, the hoop and extended handle measure about 42 inches (106 cm), providing optimal reach and leverage. Removing the handle transforms the setup into a compact 70 cm hook, ideal for securely guiding snakes into the bag.
