Reptile Husbandry

Keeping reptiles can be a fun and rewarding experience, at Snakehandler we recognize that there is a need for people to discover the hows and whys of caring for different species.  In the past we would run a face to face training in caring and keeping (husbandry), now we can do this from our online platform.

This course will cover a range of topics to help you get the most out of keeping these wonderful creatures, from selecting a reptiles, basic enclosure setups, managing UV light and thermal gradients, outdoor and indoor setups along with providing an adequate diet, environmental stimulation, mating and breeding and of course some of the common illness and injuries that can occur, the online training is complete with workbook for later reference and ongoing updates
